Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Rescript, a guided self-reflection phone line operated by Bloomhouse Labs, LLC ("Bloomhouse Labs," "we," "us"). By calling the Rescript line or texting it, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
What Rescript is
Rescript is a phone line that guides you through a structured self-reflection exercise based on imagery rescripting. A voice agent asks questions; you answer them and do the reflection yourself. After a call, Rescript may send you a text message that summarizes your session in your own words.
What Rescript is not
Rescript is a wellness tool. It is not therapy, counseling, or medical or mental-health treatment. It does not diagnose, treat, or cure any condition, and it is not a substitute for care from a licensed professional. Using Rescript does not create a therapist-client or doctor-patient relationship.
Rescript is not for emergencies. It is not a crisis service and cannot help in an emergency. If you are in crisis, thinking about harming yourself, or worried about someone's safety, call or text 988, the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, or call 911. If a call raises crisis, trauma, or self-harm, the voice agent will point you to 988 rather than continue.
Who can use it
You must be 18 or older to use Rescript.
Calls are recorded
Rescript records and transcribes your calls so it can produce your session summary and operate and improve the service. By staying on the call, you consent to being recorded. If you do not want to be recorded, please hang up. The Privacy Policy explains how recordings and transcripts are handled.
Text messages
If you agree during a call, Rescript sends you one text message summarizing your session, and may send occasional follow-up messages, including a link to buy additional calls. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Rescript only texts people who have called the line themselves.
Payments
Your first call is free. Additional calls are sold in packs through our payment processor, Stripe. Prices are shown before you buy. Because a call is delivered as soon as you place it, call packs are non-refundable once purchased. If something went wrong with a call or a charge, email us and we will make it right.
Acceptable use
Use Rescript for yourself and for its intended purpose. Do not use it to harass others, to probe or interfere with the service, or for anything unlawful.
No warranty
Rescript is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that it will be available without interruption, that the voice agent will respond perfectly, or that it will produce any particular outcome.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Bloomhouse Labs, LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Rescript. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars, whichever is greater.
Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date above shows the latest version. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
